(The debs with usb0.1.ltdl3 in the deb title are for Ubuntu versions 8.04 and lower.) However, it is also very important to note that if you are using an Ubuntu version that is 8.10 or higher (which mostly everyone is), you must choose the deb file that contains usb0.1.ltdl7 somewhere in its title. You need both the data and the core packages, as noted by the FAQ. If you are on a 32 bit system, you will need the package that has i386 in it or if you are on a 64 bit system you will need the ones with x86_64 or amd_64 in them.
